| Abstract | A new spp. Lepophidium staurophor (Pisces: Ophidiidae) is described from toe western Caribbean. The holotype of Lepophidium jeannae Fowler is redescribed and additional features discussed, Other spp. of Lepophidium are briefly discussed and toe 1st gill arch of various Atlantic spp. is illustrated. || ABSTRACT AUTHORS: C.
