| Abstract | Cottus girardi, a new relict species, related to C. carolinae and restricted to the Potamic River System of Virginia, Maryland, Pennsylvania, and West Virginia is described. The second new species, C. baileyi, is related to C. bairdi and is apparently restricted to cold waters of the upper Holston River System of Virginia and Tennessee. || ABSTRACT AUTHORS: C. R. Robins |
